Welcome to the Feed Me Mummy Blog! I've never blogged before so I'm not really sure what I'm doing but thought it might be nice to have this space to write down any news or stuff that might be of interest :-)

  1. National Breastfeeding Week 18th-27th June 2016

We're coming to the end of this year's National Breastfeeding Week and all accross Social Media there has been lots going on to support breastfeeding mums and try to help normalise breastfeeding.  Here at Feed Me Mummy, I've had an offer on for 20% off Feed Me Mummy breastfeeding vests - who doesn't love a discount?!  We also collaborated with Tea for Two -  Perth on Facebook, who were doing lots of giveaways, including a Feed Me Mummy Vest.

There have been tonnes of photos on Social Media of mums breastfeeding using the hashtags #normalisebreastfeeding and #nationalbreastfeedingweek, and whilst I would have never been confident enough to do that myself, I salute the mums who have done as every little step helps towards showing people that there is absolutely nothing wrong in breastfeeding in public.

We should remember however, that not everybody's breastfeeding journey is easy and lots of mums choose not to.  I've blogged before about the terrible time I had first time round, and the guilt I felt about not being able to breastfeed for long.  It's been 7 years since my first tough experience and I still feel pangs of guilt from time to time, but I've learnt that as long as you have a happy well fed baby, be it with formula or breastmilk, and a happy mum, then that's all that matters xx

  2. I’ve not blogged in AGES! I’ve had quite a chaotic 6 months or so which included the summer holidays and a house move so the blog has kind of taken a back seat.

A few things have happened in terms of Feed Me Mummy recently too which I must tell you about!

You may remember me telling you about being shortlisted for the Loved By Parents Awards a while back.  Well I’m thrilled to say the Feed Me Mummy Vest got two SILVER awards for Best Feeding Top and Best Product for Breastfeeding.  This was an improvement on last year’s Bronze awards so thank you so much for voting!

The vest was also shortlisted for two more awards – The Baby & Toddler Gear Awards and the coveted Mother & Baby Awards and ended up getting the Bronze baby & Toddler Gear Awards in the Breastfeeding Clothes category!

These awards mean to much as the vests are tested by mums just like you so it really makes all the hard work worth it when I know breastfeeding mums truly do love my design!

    New stock

A few months ago, the white vests became available in sizes XL (16-18) and XXL (18-20) which means the Combo is also available in these sizes.  With such a great range of sizes now available, it gives lots more mums the chance to use their normal clothes to breastfeed with a Feed Me Mummy vest underneath.

Anyway, must dash, I have the school run to do shortly!

  3. I'm thrilled to bits to have been shortlised in the 2014 Loved by Parents Awards, in 3 categories no less! The vest got two bronze awards last year and it would be amazing to try and get better ones this year, so please please do take the time to vote if you love the Feed Me Mummy Breastfeeding vests. I'm up against some better known companies so every vote counts!

Below is the info you need if you want to vote.  You get three votes and it would be fab if you voted for us in the 3 categories obviously, but if you want to vote for some other products too then you could just vote for the Feed Me Mummy Vest in the first category listed below.

Thank you so much and wish me luck :-)
